About Kippintuch
Kippintuch is a one-stop shop for motion design and visual communications. We offer a complete end-to-end solution — from idea generation to the completed film — and we make film and video that sits squarely inside the business interests of the people we make it for.
Be it the right ingredients for a feature film or something that has to land in corporate communications, our audio-visual production brings years of expertise to making sure the message reaches the right people. That expertise runs from theatrical release through to digital platforms and social media.
We use the very best technology and technique behind the camera — sharp, easy-on-the-ear audio, sophisticated visuals and leading-edge production values — so that the finished result carries the message you want to convey, and is enjoyable and memorable while it does it.
Founded by Soumitra Sunil Bagchi, Writer-Director, Kippintuch brings together a distinctive blend of storytelling, filmmaking, media production and creative thinking. With a foundation in Computer Science & Engineering and years of experience across advertising, branded content, documentaries, theatre, corporate events and cinema, we approach every project with curiosity, analytical precision, artistic instinct and a strong sense of purpose.
Because every story deserves more than just to be told. It deserves to be felt, remembered and shared.

02How we work
From the first ideato the finished frame.
A complete end-to-end solution. The same people carry a project from the conversation that starts it through to the file that is delivered.
-
Idea
We start with what you are actually trying to say, and to whom. Before anything is written, the objective is agreed.
-
Concept
The idea is shaped into a treatment — a form, a tone and a reason for the audience to stay.
-
Story
Script, structure and screenplay. This is where the human story inside a brief is found.
-
Production
Crew, cast, location, camera. The best technology and technique behind the camera, matched to the budget in front of it.
-
Post
Edit, grade, motion design, sound. Sharp, easy-on-the-ear audio and sophisticated visuals.
-
Delivery
Finished for where it will actually be seen — theatrical release, broadcast, digital platforms and social.

04The founder
The storybehind the story.
Soumitra Sunil Bagchi is a Writer-Director driven by one enduring fascination: the power of a good story.
A technocrat by qualification and an artist at heart, he came to film from Computer Science & Engineering.
His creative journey has taken him across advertising, filmmaking, documentaries, theatre, branded content and large-scale media experiences — always with a simple objective: to find the human story within an idea and tell it with clarity, imagination and impact.
Over the years, Soumitra has collaborated with some of the most reputed names in advertising and business, including JWT, Wunderman, Draft Worldwide and Wizcraft, as well as brands and organisations such as Tanishq, HP, Swadeshi, L&T, Mahindra & Mahindra, Accenture, Tata Consultancy Services and Microsoft. From advertising films and brand narratives to complex corporate productions, his experience has taught him to move comfortably between creative instinct and structured thinking.
His filmmaking journey has also taken him into stories of deeper social relevance. His documentaries, including Herbal Therapeutics and Drugs for the Poor, produced for the Government of India, have been selected for film festivals. His award-winning short film Window Shopping reflects another facet of his cinematic voice — one rooted in observation, human emotion and meaningful storytelling.
Theatre has been another important influence on his craft. As an actor and director with Mumbai’s Yatri Theatre Group and Indradhanush, Soumitra has experienced storytelling from both sides of the stage. Theatre has sharpened his understanding of performance, character, rhythm and, most importantly, the intimate connection that exists between a story and its audience.
Today, his creative world continues to expand. He is developing screenplays, Hindi feature films and documentaries, while exploring new possibilities in branded storytelling, media and AI-generated content. Among his current projects is a documentary on Rabindranath Tagore, alongside feature-film projects that explore contemporary themes and the possibilities of responsible, engaging cinema.
For Soumitra, storytelling is not confined to a particular format or screen. It is about finding the right idea, discovering its voice and creating an experience that stays with you long after the story ends.
05Collaborate
Stories waitingto be told.
We are developing projects across feature films, documentaries, brand-based films and new media — some ready to move towards production, others at earlier stages and looking for the right creative, production or financial partnership. We welcome collaborators, producers, production houses and investors who would like to see them.
